Under Construction: Hotel in Levis Commons

A new 105-suite hotel is moving closer to completion at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. The all-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton is a four-story project that is being designed by Kaczmar Architects of Cleveland and is scheduled to open in February. The 70,000-square foot hotel is meant to complement the adjacent Hilton Garden Inn with both hotels owned by Gateway Hospitality Group, of Twinsburg, Ohio. Gateway broke ground on the Home2 Suites last October and said that each suite in the hotel will have a full kitchen, customizable furniture, a sofa, and a 42-inch flat-screen HDTV. The hotel will be accompanied by 27,000 square feet of surrounding retail shops now being developed by NAI Harmon Group.
