A new exhibition titled 'The Art of the Bible,' which opened yesterday and runs through Jan. 27 at the Toledo Museum of Art, offers a look at the Holy Bible as a work of art and as a historical record of the written and printed word.

A free public lecture in conjunction with the exhibit will be given at 2 p.m. Nov. 11 by Dr. Paul Needham of Princeton University in the museum's Little Theater.
