WLMB broadcasting on limited power due to equipment failure

Christian television station WLMB-TV (Channel 40), based in Perrysburg, is broadcasting at only 5 percent of its FCC-approved operating power due to a mechanical failure in its broadcast transmitter, according to Jamey Schmitz, CEO and general manager.

"A lot of people think WLMB has ceased to operate," Mr. Schmitz said. "No, we're just operating at a safe level" until the equipment is fixed.

Repairs are expected to be made by May 5, when the station will return to full frequency. It is currently in the midst of its spring movie maraton fund-raiser, which continues through April 14.
