Psychologist-author to hold workshops
4/16/2005Hope United Methodist Church is hosting a series of workshops, titled "To Have and To Laugh," presented by Kevin Anderson, a Toledo-area psychologist and author.
The workshops will be geared toward today's families based on Mr. Anderson's latest book, The Seven Spiritual Practices of Marriage (CLP Press, $16.95). The book is part of Mr. Anderson's efforts to counter the "culture of divorce" and help married and engaged couples improve their relationships.
The first workshop will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hope UM Church, 10610 Waterville St., Whitehouse. An optional program of children's activities will be held at 6 p.m., with a family pizza dinner available.
