German Ascension Service to be in St. Lucas Lutheran

The 19th Annual Toledo Area German Ascension Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 745 Walbridge Ave. in the Old South End.

The service is conducted in Germany, with a written translation in English provided alongside the German text.

A reception with authentic German "Freundschaft und Kuchen" (friendship and pastry) will follow the service.Information: 419-243-8189.
