Members of CrossRoads Community Church will lay the cornerstone of the church s new facility, under construction in Whiteford Township, Mich., during its 7 p.m. Wednesday service.

The Rev. Glenn Teal, lead pastor, said the construction work is going according to schedule and that CrossRoads plans to move into the new building next spring.

CrossRoads, which averages about 1,400 people at its five weekend services, is building a $6.5 million, 1,000-seat church alongside U.S. 23 near the Sterns Road exit just north of the Ohio-Michigan border.

The church recently sold its present building, on West Temperance Road in Temperance, to Northwest Christian Church, Mr. Teal said.
