Church, Synagogue Library group to meet in Sylvania

The Maumee Valley Chapter of the Church and Synagogue Library Association will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at The Temple-Congregation Shomer Emunim, 6453 Sylvania Ave., Sylvania.

The group s goal is to encourage members to better serve their congregations by providing useful information and sharing ideas. Membership is open to anyone associated with or interested in a congregational library and dues are $5 per year.

Thursday s meeting will include discussion on book selection, a lunch, and talks by two local authors about writing a book and getting it published.
