Chabad House plans Lag B Omer festivities

The Jewish holiday of Lag B Omer will be celebrated with a barbecue and family activities starting at 12:15 p.m. tomorrow at Chabad House-Lubavitch, 4020 Nantucket Dr., Toledo.

Lag B Omer commemorates the lives of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and Rabbi Akiva.

Activities will include a make your own Mezuzah case, a football game, a giant slide, and kosher cotton candy and popcorn. Admission is $5. Information: 419-843-9393.
