MILAN, Mich. York Baptist Church will celebrate its 175th anniversary with a concert featuring The Anchormen at 6 p.m. Aug. 11, and special anniversary services at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Aug. 12 with former pastors speaking.

The church, originally called Mooreville Baptist Church, was started in 1832 by 10 settlers who came from New York. In addition to the Sunday services on Aug. 12, there will be a dinner at 11:30 a.m.
