Fred Woods, a professor of religious understanding at Brigham Young University, will present a free program on interfaith and intercultural collaboration at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Franciscan Center at Lourdes College in Sylvania.

The presentation, titled Kalaupapa: Uncommon Service on Common Ground, looks at a Hawaiian leper colony called Kalaupapa. Included will be video clips of current Kalaupapa residents and their memories of the helpers, called kapunas.
