Pilgrim Church pastor earns career honors

The Rev. Larry Cameron, pastor of Pilgrim Church in West Toledo, has been awarded Diplomat status in the American Psychotherapy Association.

Diplomat status is reserved for individuals who are able to meet the APA's requirements in the areas of knowledge, skill, education, training, and experience in the therapeutic process, according to the APA.

Based in Springfield, Mo., the APA has nearly 4,000 members serving as counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, pastoral counselors, and nurse psychotherapists.
