The monks will create a sand mandala honoring the Medicine Buddha at 10 a.m. Sept. 13 at the Mercy Cancer Center at St. Anne Mercy Hospital, 3404 West Sylvania Ave.

A dissolution ceremony, free and open to the public, will be held at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital, with cancer patients and survivors invited to receive a special blessing.
