Author Kevin Anderson leads program on clean water

9/20/2008

Toledo-area psychologist and author Kevin Anderson will lead an eight-session program, Thirst Things First, starting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Glendale Presbyterian Church, 4609 Glendale Ave.

Mr. Anderson said the program aims to create a community of people from diverse backgrounds with one thing in common: a desire to draw from the deep well of spiritual growth to raise funds for other human beings who need clean water.

The interactive sessions will be held once a month through May and will start with a half-hour presentation by Mr. Anderson, followed by a time for personal reflection, group discussion, and coffee and dessert.

Information is available online at ThirstThingsFirst.org. Registration is available by calling Barb Eikost at 419-290-2240 or by email, beikost@bex.net. The cost is $10 per session or $80 for the series.
