Habitat for Humanity kicks off multifaith build

A kickoff to the sixth annual Habitat for Humanity MultiFaith Build, sponsored by the MultiFaith Council of Greater Toledo, will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hindu Temple of Greater Toledo, 4336 King Rd., Sylvania.

All volunteers and interested persons are encouraged to attend the volunteer potluck and build blessing. For the potluck, organizers ask that Christians and Buddhists bring fruit or vegetable salads; Hindus, Muslims, and Unitarians bring a vegetarian dish, and Baha is, Jews, Sufis, Unity, and Religious Scientists bring desserts.

Meat, eggs, and fish are not permitted in the Hindu Temple.
