Hindu Temple hosts service for Mumbai victims

An interfaith prayer service for victims of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and their families will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Hindu Temple of Toledo, 4336 King Rd., Sylvania.

The public is invited to join in praying and showing solidarity for those who were killed and wounded in the attacks.

Pandit Anant Dixit, spiritual leader of the Hindu Temple, will open the service with prayer, after which area faith leaders from diverse traditions will offer their comments and prayers.

The observance is being organized by the MultiFaith Council of Northwest Ohio and the Hindu Temple.
