A German Christmas worship service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 4441 Monroe St., at 2 p.m. Sunday, presented by the German American Family.
The service willl include music by the Maennerchor/Damenchor, seasonal Scripture readings, and many instrumental pieces along with carol-singing, according to the Rev. Jim Van Brussel.
The newly developed service, called a Weihnachtsstimmung, will have everything that is spoken in German also printed in English to make it easy to follow along, Mr. Van Brussel said.
The service will be followed by a time of gemuetlichkeit, or fellowship.
