Southern Gospel star to perform in Adrian

ADRIAN Ivan Parker, the 2008 Southern Gospel Music Soloist of the Year, will be in concert at 6 p.m. May 9 at Bethany Assembly of God, 2045 East U.S. 223, Adrian.

Mr. Parker has been featured regularly on the Bill Gaither Homecoming Video and Concert series, including an appearance in Toledo last November. He also sang with the award-winning Southern Gospel group Gold City for more than 10 years.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $17 at the door. The concert is a benefit for the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen. Information: 517-266-0937.
