Whitehouse retreat renovated

The Lial Renewal Center in Whitehouse, sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame, held an open house this week to show the public the improvements after a year-long renovation and expansion. Sister Joanne Mary Frania, director, said the dorm rooms on the west wing have been refurbished and three bedrooms and a refl ection room overlooking a pond have been added.

Also new is a north wing with a chapel, conference center, kitchen, and offi ce areas. The center, situated on 94 acres on Davis Road, is available for individual and group retreats regardless of denomination, Sister Joanne Mary said. Information: 419-877-0432.
