Swami slates lectures on meditation
5/9/2009The Hindu Temple of Toledo is hosting a series of lectures by Swami Pratyagbodhananda, who will talk about meditation and the teachings of Shri Krishna.
Swami Ji, as he is known, is from Surat, India, but gives lectures throughout the United States. A a traditional teacher of Vedanta, he also expounds on the Bhagavata Purana.
He will speak on meditation from 10 a.m.-noon today; the teachings of Shri Krishna from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. today, and the Spirit behind the Form from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. tomorrow.
All lectures, free and open to the public, will be given in English at the Hindu Temple, 4336 King Road. 419-843-4440.
