Head of justice mission to speak at CedarCreek

Gary Haugen, president and chief executive officer of International Justice Mission, will speak at five services next weekend at CedarCreek Church, 29129 Lime City Rd., Perrysburg.

Mr. Haugen, who led the U.N.'s investigation of the Rwandan genocide in 1994, is a human-rights advocate whose nonprofit organization rescues people around the world from slavery, forced prostitution, and oppressive conditions. He was one of the featured speakers at the 2008 Leadership Summit, broadcast globally from Willow Creek Church in suburban Chicago.

His talks at the CedarCreek services, which will begin at 5:15 and 7 p.m. March 5, and 9 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. March 6, will be carried live at the church's two other campuses, 2600 West Sylvania Ave. in Toledo, and 6950 Whitehouse Square Blvd. in Whitehouse.
