Local talk is scheduled on Catholic-Muslim ties

"Reflections on Current Relations between Catholics and Muslims" is the topic of a talk Sunday by Sandra Keating in the Franciscan Center, Lourdes College, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania. Ms. Keating, an associate professor of theology at Providence College, has a doctorate in Roman Catholic theology, with an emphasis in Muslim-Christian relations, from Catholic University of America. She is a member of the Vatican Commission for Religious Relations with Muslims.

The 2011 Lourdes College Ecumenical Lecture starts at 3 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
