Annual Festival of India this weekend in Sylvania
8/13/2011Hindu worship services are among the highlights of the 22nd Annual Festival of India, being held this weekend at the Hindu Temple and Heritage Hall, 4336 King Rd., Sylvania.
The festival started Friday night with prayers, and pujas, or worship ceremonies, are scheduled at 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday in the temple. Activities and educational programs will also focus on Indian music, dance, art, games, and food.
