Program Saturday to study secular music’s theology
8/13/2011The spirituality of secular music will be explored in a program Saturday evening at Sylvania United Church of Christ, 7240 Erie St., Sylvania.
A Toledo band called ‘tis will perform songs by the rock band Stone Temple Pilots starting at 5 p.m., followed by a discussion of the theological messages in the music.
The event is the third and final of the Sylvania Sessions series, which previously explored the songs of the Beatles and Pearl Jam.
