WASHINGTON -- The Secular Coalition for America has named Edwina Rogers, a lawyer who has been a Capitol Hill lobbyist for two decades, its executive director.

She will work "to help harness the collective voices of the millions of secular Americans into a powerful constituency that lawmakers in Washington, D.C., and throughout the nation cannot ignore," the coalition said in a news release.
