'Being a Jesus Man' topic for Lial Center seminar

"Being a Jesus Man" is the topic of a program set for June 19 at 7 p.m. at the Lial Renewal Center, 5908 Davis Rd., Whitehouse.

Participants will reflect on the challenge of being an American male dedicated to Christ in this time and place, with topics including sexuality, fidelity in and out of marriage, imaging God the Father to others, and holiness.

The 90-minute session for men 18 and older is to be taught by the Rev. John Graden. Father Graden, an Oblate of St. Francis de Sales since 1976, is a teacher, preacher, singer, parish minister, and vocation director with a special dedication to Salesian spirituality. He is also a two-time cancer survivor with an affection for Third World missions and is director of DeSales Resource Center near Niagara Falls, N.Y.
