Catholic theological group elevates ex-UT professor

Richard Gaillardetz, former professor of Catholic studies at the University of Toledo who now teaches at Boston College, has been voted president-elect of the Catholic Theological Society of America.

A professional association mostly in the United States and Canada, the society was founded in 1946 to promote studies and research in theology within the Catholic tradition. The election was held at the annual convention in St. Louis this month.
