Put your arms out in a welcoming gesture.

A disciple of Amma, the Indian woman known for hugging in her ministry to relieve pain, is to present a talk at the Hindu Temple of Toledo Wednesday.

Swamy Shantamrita Chaitanya, who heads the M.A. Center Chicago, an ashram in Elburn, Ill., begun by Amma — more formally, Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi — will give a talk at 6 p.m., then answer questions. Hindu devotional songs follow. The program is scheduled to end at 8 p.m. The temple is at 4336 King Rd., Sylvania.
