2 local authors release religion-based books

Two religion-oriented books by local authors were recently published and are available in both print and digital editions.

Dean R. Eyerly’s The Face of Jesus was just released by Tate Publishing. Mr. Eyerly uses research based on first and second-century documents to give perspective on Jesus beyond the New Testament. In the introduction, Mr. Eyerly wrote that “a clear picture of the historical Jesus starts to come into focus giving one the impression that this history reads much like Ripley’s Believe It or Not because most of the information you are about to read is unlike any that you have read before.”

Michele Howe’s One Size Fits All: Making Healthy Choices, Stepping into a Meaningful Life was published by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas in January. One Size Fits All is a book of 50 inspirational short essays, each devotional starting with a Bible verse and ending with a prayer. In her introduction, Ms. Howe wrote, “My desire here is to offer fresh perspective, informative relational and health principles, and a faith-based foundation for addressing our lives as whole people.”

Ms. Howe lives in LaSalle, Mich., and grew up in Bedford Township. She has published 12 books for women.
