Jesus in Islam and Christianity to be discussed at local mosque

A discussion of Jesus from both the Islamic and Christian perspectives will take place March 17, at 4 p.m. at Toledo Masjid Al-Islam, 722 E. Bancroft St. The Rev. Ed Heilman, pastor of Park United Church of Christ, and Imam Shamsuddin Waheed of Toledo Masjid Al-Islam will present "Learning from Jesus: Benefitting from the Messiah" and will address the similarities and differences of Jesus in Islam and Christianity. Doors open at 3:30, and food will be served.
