Chance to learn about Jehovah's Witnesses

3/23/2013

If you'd like to learn about Jehovah's Witnesses by going to their door, the society will present "One Man Died for All" on Tuesday 7:30 p.m., at the Central Park West Special Event Facility, 3141 Central Park West. They will share answers they found in the Bible.

The Witnesses host an annual worldwide public event because they are commanded to remember Jesus' death, according to scripture quoted on their Web site. In 2013 they mark the anniversary on Tuesday after sundown, which is the beginning of the second day of Passover on the Jewish calendar, while many Christians say that Jesus died midday on a Friday and was resurrected early Sunday morning.

The free meeting is open to the public and no collection will be taken.
