Bacik Lecture Series continues with 3 sessions starting Monday

The Father Jim Bacik Lecture Series continues with three sessions in June. The lectures are presented by the Rev. Bacik, former campus minister and adjunct humanities professor at the University of Toledo and a past pastor of the Roman Catholic Corpus Christi University Parish. The sessions are sponsored by the Sylvania Franciscan Village in cooperation with the theological studies department of Lourdes University, and are held in the Franciscan Center, 6832 Convent Blvd., Sylvania.

On Monday at 5:30 p.m., Father Bacik’s topic is “Martin Buber: Recovering the Personal Dimension of Life.” June 10 at 5:30 p.m., he will speak on “Paul Tillich: Exploring the Relationship Between Religion and Culture.” Then on June 17 at 5:30 p.m., “Building Bridges to China by Karl Rahner” is the title.
