Dozens of people are lined up outside a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Toledo today in hopes of winning food certificates.

The first 100 people in line when the restaurant opens early Thursday morning will each receive 52 certificates for a Chick-fil-A meal. More than 60 people were lined up before 7 a.m. today.

The new restaurant is at 4260 W. Sylvania Ave, at the corner of Talmadge Rd. Chick-fil-A opened a restaurant in Perrysburg Township on Nov. 1, and also has a location inside the Westfield Franklin Park mall.

Until 8 p.m. today, Chick-fil-A was holding a canned food drive to support Toledo's Cherry Street Mission Ministries. Anyone bringing three or more items will receive a coupon for a Chick-fil-A sandwich. The event includes a contest among those camping out to see who can encourage the most donations made in their name by calling friends and family to donate.
