La-z-Boy to acquire pair of family-owned outlets
10/12/2013MONROE — La-Z-Boy Inc. announced this week that it plans to acquire two La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores in the Youngstown area.
The stores in Boardman and Howland, Ohio, are owned and operated by Ron and Marisa D'Alesandro, who are retiring after 38 years.
A company news release said transferring the stores to a La-Z-Boy subsidiary would be best for the stores’ employees and provide continuity for the business.
