Workers brave the cold and snow to build the steel frame of the new Camping World recreational vehicle store in Rossford, which will be next to Bass Pro Shops. The 30,000-square-foot store is to open in late spring.
The $6 million project will include 13,450 square feet of space inside the building, and 17,000 square feet devoted to a repairs-and-maintenance-area large enough for 80 RVs. Surrounding the building will be eight acres for sales of approximately 210 RVs.
Despite the hard winter, the project is on schedule and is expected to be finished by May, with the store opening shortly afterward. Bowling Green, Ky.-based Camping World will hire 50 to 60 full-time workers to operate the store. Walbridge-based Rudolph/Libbe Inc. is the general contractor on the project.
