The University of Toledo has signed the largest recruiting class in the history of its women s track and field program. COMMITMENTS
Jessica Turner, a 5-7 point guard from Central Catholic, has verbally committed to attend the University of Michigan. Turner, who will enter her senior year at Central this fall, averaged 16 points, 9 assists, 4 steals and 6 rebounds last season. Turner was first-team All-City, first-team All-District and honorable mention All-State.

Owens Community College will host the Detroit Pistons and Shock 2004 Youth Basketball Training Camp from 8:30 am. to 12:30 p.m. July 26-29 at the Student Health and Activities Center. Instructors will include Pistons and Shock officials and players and Michigan college and high school coaches. The camp is for youths in grades 1-11. Cardinal Stritch will host a boys and girls soccer camp for 5th-8th graders from 9 a.m. to noon on July 12,13,14. The camp will be conducted by head coach Dan Roggelin. Sign-up is July 12 at 8:30 a.m. at the Stritch soccer field.
