The GENOA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT will be charging an admission fee for all its spring athletic events this season. The cost will be $2 for adults and $1 for students in grades K-12. College softball

Toledo sophomores STEPHANIE MOORE and ERICA SINGER were named MAC West Division pitcher of the week and player of the week, respectively.

Moore had a 2-1 record at the Hoo s Who Tournament at Virginia. taking the win in a 18-3 rout of Rutgers, and in a 2-1 victory over Virginia. Moore hurled a total of 20.0 innings (two complete games), allowing 6 earned runs while striking out 14.

Singer drove in a run against Virginia and scored the other. She also hit a three-run homer in the championship game, a 10-5 loss to East Carolina. She was 3-for-3 against Bowling Green and batted .565 for the weekend with 6 RBIs.
