Friderichs is a distance freestyle swimmer who most recently swam a 4:34 in the 500 free and will be competing for the Vols at the SEC Conference Championship.

Colin Murtagh, a former district champion and state runner-up at the Toledo school who is now a sophomore sprinter specialist at the top-ranked University of Texas.

Murtagh most recently came in fourth place in the 50 freestyle for Texas, and will compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle for the Longhorns at the Big 12 Conference championship.

Mike Carroll, a former state qualifier for the Knights and now a sophomore at Miami University of Ohio, holds the fastest time there in the 400 individual medley and 200 breaststroke.

He will compete at the MAC Championships with senior Ryan McHugh, a former sprint standout and state qualifier at St. Francis, who is one of the leading sprinters in the MAC, where he holds national meet time cuts in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Both will contribute individually and on relays for the RedHawks.
