Anthony Vasaturo, a senior from Holland, plans to attend Washington University in St. Louis and pursue a double major in physics and German with a minor in music theory. He plans to eventually earn a doctorate in modern theoretical physics. Anthony's favorite subject is advanced placement calculus, and he has a 4.43 grade-point average.

His honors include earning "best in class" for pre-calculus, advanced placement physics, biology, German I-IV, and honors geometry.

He is the recipient of the Rotary Student of the Month Award and the German American Festival Award, and has been honored by the Lucas County Educational Service Center's Governing Board for outstanding achievement in physics and biology.

Anthony is a member of a number of clubs, including one for writers, youth leaders in Toledo, music composers, and the Sleight of Hand International Club. He is a mentor and participates in the Science Olympics.

A member of his church outreach committee, Anthony has participated in a ministry tour and Gospel Rescue Mission. His chemistry teacher has spent many classroom hours with him over the past couple years and is extremely impressed with his intellect and desire for learning.

Anthony is the son of Louis and Robin Vasaturo.
