Student of the Week: Erin Leidy

Erin Leidy, a senior from Perrysburg, hopes to attend college on the East Coast to study liberal arts. Her favorite subjects are English and history, and she has a 4.56 grade-point average.

A National Merit Commended Scholar, she's a member of crew, Model U.N., and the engineering and science competition team. Last summer she participated in a mission trip to Nashville.

"Erin provides insightful observations and easily makes connections among academic disciplines," said Deborah Zimmerman, Advanced Placement calculus teacher. "Her enthusiasm to share this knowledge with her peers demonstrates her leadership."

Erin is the daughter of Wayne and Michelle Leidy.
