• Celebrate Black History Month, 4 p.m. Feb. 28 at South Branch Library, 1736 Broadway. Stories, crafts, and treats for grades K-4.

Backyard animals, 4 p.m. March 6. Happy St. Patrick's Day, 4 p.m. March 13; celebrate the Irish-American holiday with a parade.

• March Movie Madness for grades K-4, 3:45-4:30 p.m. March 6, Heatherdowns Branch Library, 3265 Glanzman Rd. Funny films and popcorn too.

• Stamp It crafts, March 4 at 7 p.m., Toledo Heights Branch Library, 423 Shasta Drive. Grades K-6 create their own rubber stamps and make cards and gifts.

• Movie and Munchies for grades K-5, Mott Branch Library, 1085 Dorr St., 4 to 5 p.m. March 4, Movie and snacks. The Mysterious Case of Goldilocks and the Three Little Wolves, a live performance by the North Coast Theater, for all ages, 6 to 8 p.m. March 11.

Heatherdowns Blvd. Furniture, appliances, electronics, tools, books, and collectibles will be sold. For pick-up of donated items and saleable furniture or appliances, call 419-385-6160. Lunch of bratwurst, potato wedges, desserts, and more will be available. Benefits go to the community and mission projects.

• Thrift Shop at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 745 Walbridge Ave., open 10 a.m. to noon every Wednesday.

• Knitting at the Library, 7 p.m. for four Thursdays on March 6 and 20 and April 3 and 17, Reynolds Corners Branch Library, 4833 Dorr St. Teachers from FibreWorks Knitting and Weaving will provide basic instruction for projects. • Wiley and the Hairy Man, a classic play based on a folk tale, by the Horizon Youth Theatre at Bowling Green State University, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 29 and March 1 and at

2 p.m. March 2 in the Wooster Center, 1124 East Wooster St. Tickets at the door, $8 adult, and $6 students and seniors.

• "Dating through the Decades" exhibit, featuring courtship and wedding traditions from the 1900s to the present, opens April 5 at the Wood County Historical Center and Museum, 13660 County Home Rd., Bowling Green. On Feb. 29 at 7 p.m., wedding gowns from the Victorian era to the present will be on display, and visitors can take guided tours of the new exhibit. The admission price is $5.
