It's parade time again in Bowling Green.

Now in its 23rd year, the Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade will take place downtown at 10 a.m. Nov. 22.

This year's theme is "Holiday Reflections of the Future" and will include floats, music, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Participating high school bands include Anthony Wayne, Bowling Green, Clay, Eastwood, Otsego, and St. John's Jesuit.

The event sponsor is the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce. Donation forms are available on the Web site at bgchamber.net, and can be sent to the chamber office, P.O. Box 31, Bowling Green, OH 43402.

On Nov. 21 and Nov. 23, there will be free horse-drawn wagon rides between 6:30 and 9 p.m. starting at the Wood County District Public Library, at North Main and West Oak streets.

Bowling Green's annual tree-lighting ceremony will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 21, followed by a concert inside the public library.
