Bowling Green

•Wood County Historical Center & Museum gives anyone 16 and older the chance to play on its vintage baseball team, the Wood County Infirmary Inmates, which has played 1860s base ball for five years. Schedule includes six home games at Wintergarden Park in Bowling Green and away games at the Ohio Historical Center and Middle Bass Island. Wood County

•National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Wood County will sponsor the NAMI Famiy-to-Family Education Program specifically for families of persons diagnosed with neurobiological brain disorders (serious mental illnesses). The 12-week series of classes will start in the First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Second St., Perrysburg from 6:30-9 p.m. May 6. Classes will cover information about major depression, bipolar disorder (manic depression), schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, co-occuring brain disorders and addictive disorders. This course is structured to help family members understand and support their ill relative while maintaining their own well being. Perrysburg Twp.

t Owens Community College will host a photovoltaic installation training program 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 11-15 in the college's Workforce and Community Services Building on Tracy Road. The program will be offered again Aug. 3-7. Students successfully completing the program will qualify to test for the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioner PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge program. Goodwill Industries will have an electronics recycling center available all day in the rear parking lot of the school for used TVs, radios, computers, monitors, and related items.
