Perrysburg

• The Perrysburg Area Arts Council is presenting Americana Music this season in its 577 Concerts on the Lawn Series at the 577 Foundation. The next concert will be July 26 with bluegrass music performed by Whiskey Before Breakfast.

• The Kitchen of Hope/Feed our Families will provide a hot meal for all children and their families who are receiving breakfast and lunch from Perrysburg schools. This free meal will be offered from noon to1:30 p.m. each Friday at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 East Indiana Ave. Reservations needed. Enough groceries for a week of breakfasts and lunches will be given to each qualified family.

• Kitchen of Hope II is held the second Friday of each month. Soup and sandwiches will be provided and a lunch-to-go also will be available. Feed our Families will occur at the same time.

• Owens Community College will host free career planning workshops from July 8 to Aug. 19 in the College Hall Career Center Room 151 on campus, 30335 Oregon Rd. Titled, Discovering Career Choices, the one-hour seminars are free and open to the public. Attendees will participate in a personal interest inventory program. The workshops will occur from 1-2 p.m. July 8; 3-4 p.m. July 20 and 5-6 p.m. Aug. 19. Registration is required. Call 567-661-7501.

Waterville

• The historical district walking tours and museum open houses, sponsored by the Waterville Historical Society, will again be held on the last Saturday of the summer months July 25 and Aug. 29. The 1838 Robbins House and the 1834 Sargent House at 114 and 118 South River Rd. and the Wakeman Archival Research Center upstairs at Wakeman Hall, 401 Farnsworth Rd., will

• The Libbey High School Alumni Association will meet at 7 p.m. July 13 at the Sailing Club in Walbridge Park on Broadway Street, across from the Toledo Zoo. A vote will be taken on the bylaws and constitution and to discuss the Web site. Call Larrie Baxxus at 419-244-1236.

Haskins

• The Haskins Community will host an ice cream social from 4:30-7 p.m. July 12 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 17050 Rt. 582, 1 mile west of Haskins. The event will help offset medical expenses for Corine Fonseca. Hot dogs, sloppy joes, chicken and noodles, and pie. A silent auction, music, games, a dunk tank, and a classic antique car show are scheduled.

Reunions

• The 1959 class of Waite High School is planning its 50-year class reunion on Oct. 3. Anyone who knows a classmate who has not yet received a reunion flyer should contact Carol Simmons, 419-693-9809 or e-mail CDeal@bex.net.

• The Woodward High School Class of 1969 will be holding its 40th year reunion Nov. 27 and Nov. 28. On Friday a free, casual icebreaker gathering will take place the the Toledo speedway Bar and Grill, 5625 Benore Road, Toledo, beginning at 7 p.m. The Reunion dinner will be held at Brandywine Country Club, 6904 Salisbury Rd., Maumee, on Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Cost of the dinner is $40 per person with a cash bar. Reservations required. Money is due by Aug. 30.
