Bowling Green

Darkness to Light's Stewards of Children training session will be from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 24 at the Simpson Building Meeting Room, 1291 Conneaut Ave. This sexual abuse prevention training program teaches adults to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. Out of Darkness meets from 6:30 to 8 p.m. second Wednesday of the month at Family Services of Wood County, 1616 East Wooster St. This is an open support group for families and friends who have lost a loved one through suicide. For more information: Barbara Applebaum, 419-352-0777.

The B.G. Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Daddy-Daughter Dance from 5:30-8 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Community Center, 1245 West Newton Rd. Arts in Common Gallery presents “Polarpalooza: An Alternative Fashion Show” at 8 p.m. Feb. 20 in the gym at South Main Common Space in the former Main Elementary School. Perrysburg
