Springfield kindergarten plans made for enrollment

Prospective kindergartners in the Springfield Local Schools and their parents are invited to visit the elementary schools from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. March 18.

Children must be 5 years old by Aug. 1, 2010 to enroll in kindergarten for the 2010-11 school year.

The district also is hosting a parent information night at 6:30 p.m. March 25 in the media center at Holloway Elementary School, 6611 Pilliod Rd. to help families learn about the kindergarten curriculum, classroom structure, and school buildings.

The district's kindergarten registration will be by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 29 and 30 at the Lodge at Strawberry acres. Call 419-867-5742.

Registration and enrollment packets are available after March 18 at the district's administration building, 6900 Hall St., or at springfieldlocalschools.net.
