St. Luke's to offer lung cancer program

3/10/2010

St. Luke's Hospital is offering a free community program on preventing and treating lung cancer at 7 p.m. March 24 in the hospital's auditorium, 5901 Monclova Rd.

Lung cancer remains the No. 1 cause of cancer-related deaths in the country despite better diagnostic tools, more treatment options, and fewer smokers.

Dr. Robert Kose, internist and pulmonologist, and Dr. Christopher Riordan, cardiothoracic surgeon, will speak at the workshop.
