Cast members of the Notre Dame Academy's production of the musical 'Hairspray' strike a pose during a rehearsal in preparation for the staging of the play, 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and Oct. 29 and 30 at 2 p.m. Oct. 31 at the academy's Performing Arts Center, 3535 W. Sylvania Ave. Tickets: adults, $12; students, $8. The play is about teenage life and music in the 1960s.
