Waterville history group to host program Wednesday night

"Fifteen Layers of History," a slide program about the Maumee River Valley, will be presented by Dick Kudner at 7 p.m. Wednesday during a free, public event sponsored by the Waterville Historical Society at Wakeman Hall, 401 Farnsworth Rd.

Mr. Kudner has been president of the Maumee Valley Heritage Corridor for the past 13 years. The organization initiated the study that lead to Congress approving the Fallen Timbers Battlefield and Fort Miamis as affiliated units of the National Park Service. Mr. Kudner serves on the advisory committee for the battlefield. He and his wife Martha reside in Perrysburg and are members of the Waterville Historical Society.
