Fresh from the success of the Farmers’ Market last year in Whitehouse, plans are underway for a Flower Market on Saturdays in May.

The Flower Market will be open from 9 a.m. to noon on May 7, 14, 21, and 28 at Providence Street and the Wabash Cannonball Bike Trail.

Cut flowers, flats of annuals, potted perennials, trees, flowering bushes, coffee, pastries, and handmade items will be among the offerings.

The village also will again will be a satellite site of the Toledo Farmers Market.

The village is seeking additional vendors, such as farmers, artists, and crafters. Sixty percent of items offered must be homegrown or homemade.

For details, contact Whitehouse Village employees at 419-877-5383 or e-mail Barbara Knisely, Community Development Coordinator, at bknisely@whitehouseoh.gov.

The Farmers’ Market operates from mid-July to October.
