Summer hours for the Wakeman Archival Research Center will begin May 4.
The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday through October.
In addition, the center will be open the last Saturdays of June, July, and August from 1 to 4 p.m.
Located upstairs in Wakeman Hall, 401 Farnsworth Rd., the center contains records of Waterville organizations, businesses, churches, and schools, as well as family files and other local history.
A Waterville Historical Society volunteer archivist assists in locating items.
Items must remain at the archives, but copies can be made for a fee.
The historical society welcomes donations of documents and photographs, or items can be brought to be copied and added to the files.
